The fight is on!
- 26 states are currently suing the federal government over President Obama’s executive immigration actions.
- Governor Brown stated that California will not be joining the 26 states in their suit against the federal government.
- Governor Brown also stated that he supports the President’s deferred action programs
- According to the Latin Post, California could see its GDP increase by 11.7 billion dollars over the next 10 years
It seems that offering those contributing the U.S. economy legal status could offer some states some serious economic gain. Whether it is President Obama’s November 2014 plan or comprehensive immigration reform, something must be done sooner rather than later because families are at stake.
